Christopher Thompson
Accredited Exercise Physiologist
M.Sc. Neuro Rehab; B.Sc. Ex & Health; B.Sc. Ex Rehab
My name is Christopher (he/him).
You are welcome to call me Chris or Kip.
I graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2012 with two degrees, a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Exercise Rehabilitation Science. This is the education and training that makes me an Exercise Physiologist (EP).
Through six years of clinical practice, in which I gained a wide range of experience, I developed a keen interest in the neurological field. I decided to study this further, graduating in 2021 from Edith Cowan University with a Master of Neurological Rehabilitation.

I live in Dunsborough, Western Australia, where I own and operate a mobile EP business - KT KINETIC - which services the South West. My skill set, knowledge, and professional experience are broad, which allows me to maintain a varied caseload.
Fundamentally, I enjoy supporting people in their rehabilitation journeys.
I believe that each case must be viewed on its own merit, and getting to know my clients, helps me to understand the context of their situation. People generally find me easy to talk to, and from here the rest seems more manageable.
I feel extraordinarily lucky to have grown up in the beautiful South West. My biggest interests in life involve the outdoors, in particular the ocean which is nothing short of my lifeline. I enjoy surfing, spearfishing (free-diving), and scuba. I play soccer for the Dunsborough Towners Football Club, and generally enjoy the social and competitive nature of all sports, most of which I have played at some stage or other.
I have been hugely privileged to travel, within Australia and to many different countries too. My favourite thing about traveling is connecting with people and with nature. I believe that everyone and everything has a story to tell, and taking the time to share and learn these stories is the natural path to growth; into health, happiness, and wellness.
